About Bury Home Companions
Growing up watching a family member become increasingly isolated, I saw firsthand how devastating loneliness can be for elderly and vulnerable adults. It wasn’t a lack of care. It was a lack of company. Someone to share a cup of tea with. Someone to notice if they seemed a little down. Someone who simply showed up.
That’s why I started Bury Home Companions.
We’re not an agency. We’re a small, dedicated team of warm, genuine people who care deeply about the individuals we visit. Every companion is personally chosen by me, fully DBS checked and insured. But more importantly, they’re the kind of person you’d want sitting at your mum’s kitchen table.

Yes, every one of our companions is fully DBS checked and insured before they begin working with any client. Your safety and peace of mind is our absolute priority.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
No minimum at all. Whether you need one hour a week or daily visits we will always work around what suits you.
How much does it cost?
Our rates are £30 to £35 per hour. We will always give you a clear honest quote before anything is agreed. No hidden fees ever
Do you cover bank holidays and weekends?
Yes, we are available 24 hours a day 7 days a week including all bank holidays overnight stays and weekends.
What areas do you cover?
